Embrace every bit of your glowing pregnancy by treating yourself to a luxury maternity experience. Serving Charleston, South Carolina, and the surrounding areas, our goal for each session is to provide expecting mothers the opportunity to embrace their beautiful transition into motherhood with heirloom artwork to cherish forever. Portraits with your partner and other children are encouraged and included at no additional cost. We recommend scheduling your Charleston maternity photography session between 30 to 35 weeks in term, although we are happy to schedule outside of this window if you prefer.
Approximately 2 weeks after your session, we will meet again for your viewing and ordering appointment. At this appointment, your images will be revealed for the first time and you will place your print order.
Please note:
In order to provide each client with a full-service experience and to accommodate early/late arrivals, newborn portrait session bookings are limited to 4-6 per month at maximum. Due to this limited availability, it is highly recommended to reserve your spot while still in your 2nd trimester, as my calendar typically fills up two to three months in advance. I am unable to guarantee last-minute openings. Once booked, you are guaranteed priority dates for when your baby arrives, regardless of when that ends up being - early, on-time, or late.

Luxury maternity sessions require a non-refundable session fee payment of $250. The session fee reserves your spot on our calendar and includes set designs, full access to props, couture gowns, modern bodysuits, and accessories needed for your session, as well as your session time, and full retouching of your images.
**Maternity Session Collections begin at $400. Your session fee will be applied towards the image collection of your choosing. The remaining balance for your desired collection is due 1 week prior to your session date.

I'm both and specialize in everything to do with families. A family photographer often deals with larger groups, such as both parents and the children. However, a maternity photographer primarily works with the mom-to-be and possibly the other parent. You can bring pets, children, and partners with you!
I encourage expectant parents to contact me during their second trimester to ensure availability on my calendar. I only book a small number of sessions each month so availability is very limited. Maternity sessions are typically photographed at 30-35 weeks, although we are happy to schedule outside of this window if you prefer.
Absolutely! Your partner is welcome to share the experience with you. I always encourage partners to join in, even if it’s only a few shots. These are moments you just can’t get back. Let’s make the most of them!
I realize it's tough being pregnant, and I'm a professional photographer. Therefore, I can make you feel comfortable in any situation and help with poses. If you're ill, I recommend contacting me before the shoot to reschedule for a time you feel better.
I SEE NUDE PortraitS ON THE WEBSITE, AND I'M NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THAT. CAN I still USE YOU AS MY MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER?
Many women like to have more intimate photos for the bedroom but showcase fully-clothed portraits in the nursery and to hand out to family members. If you're uncomfortable being nude, we can use bodysuits, silk or satin fabrics, maternity gowns and so many other items to help you feel relaxed.
Yes! You can come to the portrait studio for maternity photography services first. Once your bundle of joy arrives, we schedule newborn photography sessions! Some new moms incorporate their maternity photos into the session. Maternity photographers can do so much to create memories!
