When Hayli reached out to me to book her Belly to Baby photography bundle, I was so excited! Not only was I excited and honored that she chose to book me as her maternity and newborn photographer. I was excited for HER! This gorgeous mama and I have known each other since KINDERGARDEN! We’ve attended grade school together and walked across the same graduation stage. As we’ve grown older, we’ve caught glimpses of each other’s grown but knowing that she was entering this chapter in life was so special. I’ve always been a sucker for a good love story but seeing a friend grow into an amazing woman and mother is a beautiful thing to witness.
Hayli and Carl were so much fun to work with. Hayli has actually modeled in the past so mama knew her angles! When he wasn’t in front of the camera with Hayli, Carl sat back and admired her beauty. He also gave me a hand with silk fabric tossing! We cracked a few jokes during their studio maternity session and mama danced around to songs by her favorite artists. It was such a fun session!
Meeting Castian was such a surreal moment. His parents opted for an in-home newborn session. After we got all of the props and backdrops set up, it was time to begin! When she placed little Castian in my hand, I STILL couldn’t believe it. I believe the first thing I said to her after holding him was “Hayli…you’re really a mom! Wow!”

I had so much fun photographing Hayli & Carl for their studio maternity portraits. We had lots of laughs, and I just see the love they have for one another and how excited they were about becoming a family.
This handsome little man LOVED being swaddled during his session. Mom requested green as one of his session colors and it complimented him perfectly.
Castian wasn’t a fan of a few of the newborn poses but he melted into other poses effortlessly.
Their first images as a family! These images mark the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
How Do I Book A Newborn Session?
Thank you for your interest in SBP! Your newborn session experience starts with a conversation. Contact the studio by submitting a contact form. We will personally give you all of the information you need, from what to expect before, during and after your session to what it will cost. I only book a set number of sessions each month in order to ensure each client receives an amazing experience. Availability is limited, so I encourage you inquire at your earliest convenience. Once your session fee is paid, your date is reserved and no one can take it from you.
