Does this face look familiar? If you’ve been following my work for some time now, she just might! Since the very beginning, Sierra has trusted me to capture her family’s memories. From her baby girl’s three-month milestone session to her glowing second pregnancy today, we have made some magic happen! After reviewing her questionnaire responses, we discussed Sierra’s vision for her session. We spoke about the colors she wanted to be incorporated as well as a few mother and daughter shots that she wanted to make sure we got!
While we started working with mama, Kinsleigh danced around the studio to the music saying “Cheeeese! Cheeeese!”, “So pretty mommy!”, “It’s a picture!” But when it was time for her to pose with mommy, she got a little shy. We were also inching closer and closer to her nap time so we could see that our posing window was slowly closing. She was slightly bribed into her poses using lots of fruit snacks and even more love from mama. Without being asked, Kinsleigh reached up, held mama’s face, and asked her for kisses. Moments like these are so priceless!
Sierra absolutely ROCKED her session! Once she got into her groove, she didn’t need too much direction. I gave her a pose and she WORKED her angles to the beat of the music she requested. We had a blast during her session!
After seeing her images for the first time during her viewing and ordering appointment, Sierra expressed to me just how much she loved her images. She said that her entire maternity session experience was exactly the confidence boost that she had been needing lately. This second pregnancy has been very different from her first and has needed some adjusting and getting used to. I’m glad that I was able to remind her just how stunning she is inside and out!

Whether this is your first, second, or third pregnancy, you should EMBRACE your beauty at this stage. You may not be feeling quite like yourself because of all of the changes your body is going through, but trust me! YOU. ARE. GORGEOUS!! And you deserve to spend a day capturing and showcasing just how stunning you are!
